Process:
I had already knew that I wanted to do my piece on photography and as well knowing which inspirations to use as well since I had used these two artists in my comparative study. The first thing I had done with knowing about these two main things was brainstorming ideas of what I can take a picture of or even where I can take a picture. I came up to the idea of using the downtown scenery of Milwaukee since it is elegant and eye catching over there. After coming up with the ideas and narrowing down my ideas to exactly what I wanted my pictures to be of and to be about. But before I went downtown I had experimented with my phone camera and digital camera by taking pictures of random items by using the effects . when I went downtown and started taking pictures of the two areas I chose. But when I started taking pictures I started messing around with the effects with the camera at looking at the effects but not quite using them yet. I only wanted to glance at the effects and look them over. So then I had taken pictures and came across to 4 final pictures to use for my piece.
Experimentation:
Some experimentation that I used was to mess around with the camera and the effects that comes with the camera. I had used a digital camera to take the pictures but I thought at first that I could use my phone camera as well. So I messed around with my phone camera with the different effects such as color and so forth. By doing that I had took pictures of random items using those effects. But then I decided not to use those my phone camera so then I used my digital camera intsead. Where it doesn't have the same effects as my phone camera so I had experimented with the getting pictures clear and percise. As well as using the camera in different views from the sides, middle. I also did this by experimenting with taking pictures of random items as well.

Anita Bergermeister is a local artist that is a photographer that takes pictures of urban landscapes and much more. she tends to use many things and objects that are in her surroundings and find a way to capture the piece. Such as in this piece where she captures an image of her surroundings here in downtown Milwaukee. I actually decided to use the same location as Anita but taking the picture in a different view and time. She always uses the daylight as her lighting as well, she captures the timing of the light towards the main subject in the piece. Such as how I used the lights from the structure as lighing for my piece. Where the lightsshowed a type of pattern on the structure and so I decided to capture that lighing design in my piece. Manuel Alvarez Bravo is also another photographer who tends to also use his surroundings and to try to capture the piece to meet his intentions of using his mexican culture and creating a message from his pieces as well. I do not tend to make a message from my piece but his intention was for such a great purpose of how magnificent his photography was.
Reflection:
Overall I feel that my photography series was done very well, I am satisfied of my piece. I really like how the images came out very clear and clean just as what I was hoping to reach. But maybe one thing I can change from my series is the fact that the 2 bottom images that were taken in the dark could have been taken a bit earlier where there could be a bit more light but not from the lights but from the sun. I feel that it could have changed the mood of the image a bit more "bright". Other than that I feel as it came out very good. I like how the landsacpe was captured very well. I enjoy doing photography and feel as I am best at this medium of art.
ACT questions:
1.) The inspirations have a great effect on my artwork because of how the artists tend to take their images in many types of ways. So it enhances my knowledge of how to capture an imgae in a specific way .
2.) The author tends to emphasis the work of the artist on how they do their photography and as well as explaining their strengths of their work ethics. Photography overall is not just about snaping the picture but using many effects and ideas on how to capture the perfect image.
3.) A conclusion that I have discovered is that one can use their surroundings to capture a meaning towards it. By using their resources given to them even when one may not notice what resources are actually given around them.
4.) A central Idea for my research was to find ways to capture a good image that is clear and percise. I wanted to see what exactly could help me meet that central idea with new aspects of learning towards photography.
5.) Some inferences that I make was that these ways will be hard to encounter and undertsnad. But then when practicing it was not quite as hard as it looks. The ways to get a clear picture is actually very helpful than I thought.
